Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the dynamics of water and soil salinity that occur on land and can evaluate for the next growing season. The study was conducted in Purwa Agung Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in April to May 2020. Data collection and data analysis in the field is carried out on an ongoing basis starting from April to May 2020. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dynamics of water and soil salinity. The results of this study indicate that the dynamics of water salinity varies greatly on a weekly basis. In the observations in the first week there was a very high increase of 2340 µS / cm indicating that there was saltwater intrusion entering agricultural land, but there was a decrease in the second week and so on ie from 686 µS / cm to 334 µS / cm, due to the fall rain. Tidal type on the land is a single daily type which means that in one day there is only one tide and one tide. Based on cumulative data from the beginning of the study to the end, there is saltwater intrusion in the land. With the hope that the results of this study can be used as recommendations in agriculture. Key words : Dynamics of Soil Salinity, Water Salinity, Groundwater Face, Tidal Land
