Abstract

This research aims to analyseThe impact of performance appraisal on the jobpromotion in the Lemabang branch of Bank Mandiri Palembang. Thepopulation of this research included all of the employees in the companyconsisting 41 employees. this research utilise the primary data that wascollected by conducting a Questionnaire. The analytical technique that wasutilised was the simple linear regression analytical method. This research hasshown that signi"cance of Performance Appraisal on the Job Promotion. Theoutcome of the research has suggested that Bank Mandiri Palembang shouldadopt excellent performance appraisal according to the standards that havebeen set and adjusted to what actually happened on the "eld and otherwiseemployees must also pay attention to the rules or conditions for promotioninorder to encourage the employees to perform better with the purpose ofbeing promoted.
