Abstract

This study aims to perform quantity values N, P, K, clay fraction and to know the quantity of limiting factor oil palm plantations of PT. Cangkul Bumi Subur. This research was conducted in October 2019- February 2020 at PT. Cangkul Bumi Subur, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. This study used a semi-detailed survey method with a scale of 1: 25,000, with the help of scaled based mad 1:75.000. The area of the research location is 241 ha, consisting of 5 blocks, namely M2P14 block covering 45 ha, M4P13 covering 20 ha, M6P14 covering 79 ha, M8P12 covering 70 ha, and M10P16 covering 26 ha. The method used is a survey method with field observations and the determination of the location for soil sampling is done by using the free grid method. The sample points are 16 sampling points conducted on the oil palm plantation area of PT. Cangkul Bumi Subur. The result of the calculation of the quality of N in soil equialent to Urea, the highest value was found at sample point T4 in 2013, which was 195,3 kg/ha P in the soil equavalent to Tsp, the highest value was found in the sample T8 in 2012 namely 600,78 kg/ha, K in the soil the highest Kcl equialent was found in the T5 sample namely 1.713 kg/ha. Judging from the absorption of soil nutrients as reflected by the presence of soil clay content, all soil profiles have low soil absorption. This absorption factor is the main limiting factor in the research location.
