Abstract

Nutrient elements N in the ertilizer plays an important role in improving the production result of spinach, especially on the leaves. One effort that can be done to improve the production yield with the use of the right fertilizer. One of the excellent organic fertilizer to improve soil fertility and soil organic matter is compost and vermicompost. The method used in this research is randomized block design factorial (RAFK) with 2 treatment factors, namely campost and vermicompost. The results of this study show that the application of compost provides a real influence on the plant height at week-4 and C-Organic soil. The application of vermicompost gave a real influence on the plant height at week 3 and week 4 as well as the number of leaveas at week 3. The combination of the application of compost and vermicompost provide a real influence on the plant height at week 3 into week 4 and the number of leaves at week and C-Organiksoil.
