Abstract

The objective of this research was to test of the mass sensor in the vacuum drying chamber. The research was conducted from July 2018 until January 2019. This research used experimental method and data was presented in the form graphs consisting temperature levels as follows: 1). temperature of the dryer chamber, 2). 30ºC, 3). 35ºC, 4). 40ºC. Consisting pressure as follows: 1). pressure of -10 cmHg, -20 cmHg, -30 cmHg, -40 cmHg, and -50 cmHg. Used by a mass sensor a maximum of 3 kilograms with the weight of the weighing 2 grams, 20 grams, 40 grams, 60 grams and 80 grams. The data observed were mass (g), pressure (cmHg), drying time (hours, minutes, seconds). The observed parameters were mass sensor accuracy (%), precision sensor mass (%) and error (%). The results showed that at a mass of 80 grams with the temperature in the drying chamber had an accuracy value of 98.04%, precision 98.76% with an error value of 1.96%.
