Abstract

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai KPK adalah Lembaga Negara dalam rumpun kekuasaan eksekutif yang melaksanakan tugas pencegahan dan pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi. Dalam hal Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi adalah serangkaian kegiatan untuk mencegah dan memberantas terjadinya tindak pidana korupsi melalui upaya koordinasi, supervisi, monitor, penyelidikan, penyidikan, penuntutan, pemeriksaan di sidang pengadilan, dengan peran serta masyarakat sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Kewenangan KPK diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2010 Tentang Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang, Undang- Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2001 Tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi, Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2019 Tentang Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi dan Undang-Undang Nomor 46 Tahun 2009 Tentang Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi sebagai ius constitutum dari upaya pencegahan dan pemberantasan tindak pidana pencucian uang (money laundering) hasil tindak pidana korupsi.
