Abstract

The purpose of this study are to: (1) Describe the profile of the farmer's household labor force in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. (2) Knowing farmers' perceptions of work in agriculture in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. (3) Calculate the dependency ratio of farm households in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Research and data collection in the field will be carried out in January 2020 until completion. The method used in this study is a survey method (survey method). The sampling method used in the study is the purposive sampling method. In this study, samples will be taken based on the scale level of the profile of farm households in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, as many as 180 farm households. Samples to be taken in this study were 30 samples. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data processing method uses the scoring method / class interval and also the load ratio ratio. Based on the analysis conducted by the author, it was concluded that the population in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency were ready to face the upcoming demographic bonus and farmers' perceptions of employment in agriculture in improving welfare were within the criteria of prosperity and the ratio of the burden of the population in Tanjung Merindu Village, Tanjung Lubuk District by 67.95%.
