Abstract

PT. Bumi Merapi Energi is a company engaged in the coal mining industry. PT. BME has a problem, namely the existence of coal reserves which are located below the river segment. The existence of natural resources such as coal stored under the Serelo River at the mining site of PT. Bumi Merapi Energi. then PT. Bumi Merapi Energi conserves coal reserves, by moving the Selero River section that crosses the coal reserves, the river is moved according to the rules and regulations in force in the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to discuss about river displacement and conservation of coal reserves. This research was conducted by direct survey on the Serelo river, measuring the flow rate, measuring the cross-sectional area of the river, taking the timing of the digging and transporting tools. This data processing using Microsoft Excel software. PT.BME has an actual production of 265,782,514 Bcm / month mechanical equipment for the Doosan DX800 backhoe excavator digging tool, while for the Terex TR50 dump truck it is 263,570.31 Bcm / month. The old Serelo River has a water discharge of 6.75 m3 / second or 6,750 liters / second while the new Serelo River has a discharge of 6.90 m3 / second or 6,900 liters / second. Based on the calculation of the actual production of mechanical equipment and the flow rate of the Serelo River, the estimated completion time of the Serelo River removal work is 8.5 months or 225 days using 2 units of digging and 8 conveyances.
