Abstract

This research examines the effect of career development on employee performance at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, South Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of career development in the employee performance at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, South Sumatra Province. The sample used is the entire population of 65 employees to become the respondents. The method used in this research is data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. The results of research based on testing indicate that career development has a significant effect on employee performance. To improve employee performance, it is suggested that periodic evaluations of employee mutations and promotions are adjusted to their education and training, so they are performance can be more effective and they can exceed targets and improve every year. significant effect on employee performance. It is recommended for the related parties to increase the workload optimally. This optimization must be seen in terms of the variety of work tasks, the volume of tasks and duty free needed as a means of improving employee performance.
