Abstract

Accreditation of primary facilities has been carried out in various countries, including in Indonesia. Health workers are health service providers who are directly involved in the accreditation process. In this regard, health workers in Community Health Center have not felt the impact of accreditation on service quality. In this regard, health workers have not felt the impact of Community Health Center accreditation on service quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the perspectives of health workers regarding the implementation of accreditation of service quality. This research was a quantitative study with cross sectional method. The data collection instrument was a valid questionnaire from (El-Jardali, Jamal, Dimassi, Ammar, & Tchaghchaghian, 2008 with a sample of 317 health workers at the Community Health Center in Palembang , conducted in February to April 2020. Respondents were selected based on simple random sampling. Multivariate analysis with the binary logistic regression statistical test using computerized statistical application. The results showed a relationship between p-value leadership <0.001; OR = 11,994 (95% CI: 6,657 - 21,610), strategic planning p-value <0.001; OR = 11,644 (95% CI: 6,472 - 20,950), human resource focus p-value <0.001; OR = 3,734 (95% CI: 2,200 - 6,339), customer focus p-value <0,001 and OR = 19,364 (95% CI: 9,779 - 38,344), p-value management process <0,001; OR = 11,667 (95% CI: 6,368 - 21,375), staff involvement p-value <0.001 and OR = 9,205 (95% CI: 5,087 - 16,658), p-value accreditation benefits <0.001 and OR = 5.797 (95% CI: 3,250 - 10,339) with quality service. While accreditation status is not related to service quality. Customer focus is the most dominant variable related to service quality. This research shows that accreditation can encourage efforts to improve service quality. From the point of view of health workers, Community Health Center need to pay attention to customer focus as a priority factor in efforts to improve service quality. Health workers need to maintain quality by carrying out services according to established standards.
