Abstract

LUSITA MEYMI ANDESTA SAKTI. Effect of The Depth Soil with Sludge Biodigester Mixture Media at Different Concentrations on Growth and Yield of Pakcoy Plants (Brassca rapa L.) (Supervised by BENYAMIN LAKITAN and MERY HASMEDA). This study aims to determine the growth and yield of pakcoy plants given sludge biodigester with various doses and different depth positions of soil mixture media–sludge biodigester. The research was conducted in Pulau Kabal Village, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from April 2020 to June 2020. The study used a factorial randomized block design with two factors. Factor 1 is the dose of sludge biodigester fertilizer, consisting of P1 = 40 grams of polybag, P2 = 80 grams of polybag, and P3 = 120 grams of polybag. Factor 2 is the position of the depth of the soil- sludge biodigester mixture media, consisting of T1 = Fertilizer is evenly mixed throughout the soil in a polybag, T2 = Fertilizer is evenly mixed to the soil from 0 cm to 7 cm above ground level, and T3 = Fertilizer is evenly mixed with the soil from 0 cm to 3.5 cm above the ground level. The results showed that the fertilizer doses treatment had a significant effect on the variables of leaf area, root fresh weight and stem fresh weight. Treatment of mixed media depth had a significant effect on leaf area variables, leaf fresh weight, root fresh weight, and leaf dry weight. Meanwhile, the interaction between the two treatments did not have a significant effect on all variables except for the leaf area variable. The best growth and yield of pakcoy plants were obtained in the treatment of a fertilizer dose of 120 grams of polybag with a depth of 0 to 3,5 cm of mixed media above the soil surface in a poly bag.
