Abstract

This research is a design research type of validation study which aims to produce a learning trajectory of relation and function material in the form of 4 student worksheets (LKPD). Activity 1 defines and finds examples of relations, activity 2 defines functions and creates arrow diagrams, as well as a set of sequential pairs, activity 3 differentiates function and relation, activity 4 solves contextual problems. The research subjects were 32 students of junior high school number 19 Palembang class VIII 9, while the focus of the research was 6 students each with high, medium, and low abilities who were selected based on the student's academic ability and the recommendation of the mathematics subject teacher. The research was carried out in three stages, namely: (1) preliminary or preparation stage; (2) experiment which is divided into pilot and teaching experiment (3)retrospective analysis or analysis phase. The research was conducted online with pre-scheduled, scheduled, and post-scheduled learning systems. Pre-scheduled and post scheduled learning uses google classroom and WhatsApp groups, while scheduled using the zoom application. The research data was collected through google classroom and analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the learning trajectory obtained in the study could develop students' understanding of material relations and functions.
