Abstract

Split rock or andesite rock is a type of igneous rock that is sourced from excavation or mining in quarries in various places in Indonesia. Technical and economic studies must include an assessment of the current situation and future conditions, especially taking into account changes in conditions that may occur. The problem that arises is the development of mining techniques and methods which may affect the production price and the selling price of minerals. Based on the background of the problem, this study aims: (1) To analysis the technical and economic aspects of production and mining operational costs to determine the production costs of andesite in Quarry Bukit Tapuan; (2) Analysis the factors that affect the production of tools to increase work efficiency and to reduce the cost of producing andesite rocks in the Bukit Tapuan Quarry of PT Bukit Asam Tbk. This research was conducted at Quarry PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. On 23 September 2019 - 22 November 2019. The research method used is to link actual data theory in the field so that analysis and solutions are obtained in solving problems. The calculation result of the production of the Atlas Copco Air Rock T 35 drilling equipment has an hourly production of 1,141.74 BCM / hour. The Komatsu PC 200 LMT-96 excavator has a production of 180.78 tons / hour and the Komatsu PC 200 LMT-97 Excavator has a production of 175.85 tons / hour. The Fuso Dump Truck has an hourly production of 169.92 tons / hour.
