Abstract

THIS STUDY AIMED TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF BLADE ROTATION SPEED AND BLADE TYPE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF BRUSH CUTTER MACHINE. THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY INDICATE THAT THE DIFFERENCE IN BLADE ROTATION SPEED HAS A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON EFFECTIVE CAPACITY (HA/HOUR) AND FUEL CONSUMPTION (L/HOUR). THE INTERACTION OF THE COMBINATION OF BLADE ROTATION SPEED AND BLADE TYPE SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTED THE EFFECTIVE CAPACITY OF THE MACHINE. THE BEST TREATMENT IS IN THE COMBINATION TREATMENT OF BLADE ROTATION SPEED OF ± 7500 RPM AND CIRCULAR SAW BLADE (A3B3), NAMELY THE EFFECTIVE ENGINE CAPACITY OF 0.0358 HA/HOUR, FUEL CONSUMPTION (A1B2) OF 1.141 L/H.
