Abstract

This study aims to determine the student’s mathematical reasoning abilities after learning using the PMRI and LSLC is done approach to the material of multiplication and devision in algebraic assisted video animation in class VII. This type of research is descriptive. The subject of this study of class VII.3 Junior High School 1 Palembang amounting 33 students. Data collection techniques used were observations, giving test question amounted to 2 questions in the form of descriptions and interviews. After doing this research, the result showed that student’s mathematical reasoning abilities of students class VII.3 in material of multiplication and devision in algebraic has emerged even though there are still students who do not show indicators of their mathematical reasoning abilities. The indicator that appears the most is the indicator submitiin a guess on question number 1 and 2 and indicator mathematical manipulation number 1 and 2 the most are indicator that appears is the indicator that appears is the indicator draws conclusions from the statement on question number 1 and 2.
