Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between work-family conflict and marital satisfaction in dual earners. The hypothesis of this study that there is a relationship between work-family conflict and marital satisfaction in dual earners. The population in this study was dual earners. The research samples in this study was 120 dual earners and to try out is 60 dual earners. This study used sampling quota technique. Measuring instruments in this study used a scale of marriage satisfaction that refers to aspects of Mackey & O'brien (1995) and work family conflict scales that refer to the types of Greenhaus & Beutell (1985). The research used pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results of correlation analysis showed that work family conflict has a significant negative relationship with marital satisfaction p-values p = 0.000 (p<0.05) and r = -0.783.
