Abstract

This research is a descriptive study which aims to determine the students' mathematical concepts in the One Variable Linear Equation material assisted by learning videos using the PMRI approach and the LSLC system in the Covid-19 era. The subjects of this study were 10 students of class VII.2 SMP Negeri 17 Palembang. The learning process is carried out in accordance with the characteristics and principles of the PMRI and the LSLC system. In this study, the data collection technique used was a written test consisting of 2 description questions, interviews, and observations which were used to obtain supporting data. The written test is done to understand the students' concepts when working on the questions. Interviews were conducted to obtain student answers. Then observations were made to see student activities during learning. The results in this study can be concluded that students' understanding of mathematical concepts based on the indicators of understanding mathematical concepts is good enough. The indicator that often appears is restating a concept / idea, while the indicator that rarely appears is the ability to present a concept in the form of a mathematical representation.
