Abstract

Scholarships is one of the programs that exist in every University. Scholarships is assistance in the form of financial assistance provided by the Government through the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikjen Dikti) to students with the aim of continuing their education. Many students apply for scholarships, therefore the selection also sets several criteria so that the selection of scholarships can be according to their needs. So it requires a system that can help provide recommendations in selecting prospective students who are eligible to receive Bidikmisi scholarships. So that the author discusses the decision support system for the selection of prospective bidikmisi scholarship recipients using the Multi-Objective Optimization method on the basis Ratio Analysis (MOORA) using 6 criteria, such as parents' income, number of dependents, home ownership, value, vehicle and distance to the city center. with each criterion given a weighted value. The result of this research is in the form of a decision support system built to assist employees in determining prospective students who receive Bidikmisi scholarships.
