Abstract

One of the DSS methods that the authors take is the Preference Selection Index (PSI). The basic concept of the PSI method determines the criteria weights using only the information provided in the decision matrix, using objectively to determine the criteria weights. In this method the results are obtained with minimal and simple calculations as they are based on statistical concepts without the need for attribute weights. Here the research is conducted by the author to provide recommendations for granting credit by taking into account the weight value for each criterion, for example, such as character criteria, age (continuity), occupation (capacity), regular income per month or the applicant's economic condition (condition). Then proceed with an assessment process that will select the best alternative from a number of existing alternatives. So that it can reduce the risk of bad credit by the applicant using themethod Preference Selection Index (PSI).
