Abstract

Akumulasi Logam Berat Hg, Pb dan Cu Pada Daging dan Insang Ikan Belanak di Perairan Muara Sungai Musi, Sumatera Selatan (Pembimbing: Dr. Wike Ayu Eka Putri, S.Pi., M.Si dan Rezi Apri M.Si) Perairan Muara Sungai Musi merupakan wilayah pesisir yang memiliki berbagai macam potensi alam yang cukup besar salah satunya adalah potensi sumberdaya ikan. Ikan Belanak merupakan ikan ekonomis penting dan sering dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat setempat, Namun banyaknya aktivitas di perairan berpotensi menurunkan kualitas perairan sehingga dapat menimbulkan indikasi pencemaran. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis kandungan logam berat merkuri (Hg), timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu) pada ikan belanak yang terdapat di Perairan Muara Sungai Musi dan Mengetahui batas aman konsumsi ikan belanak yang tertangkap di perairan Muara Sungai Musi. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan konsentrasi rata-rata logam berat Hg, Pb dan Cu pada daging ikan Belanak yaitu sebesar 0,00036 mg/kg Hg, 0,0110 mg/kg Pb dan Cu sebesar 0,1443 mg/kg. Sedangkan pada insang ikan Belanak konsentrasi rata-rata sebesar 0,0275 mg/kg Hg, 0,01665 mg/kg untuk Pb dan 0,2845 mg/kg untuk Cu. Konsentrasi tersebut dapat ditolerir karena tidak melebihi batas yang telah ditentukan. Kata Kunci : Ikan Belanak, Logam Berat , Muara Sungai Musi ABSTRACT Ruspa Indah. 08051181621017. Accumulation of Heavy Metals Hg, Pb and Cu the Meat and gills on Belanak fish in Estuary of Musi River, South Sumatra (Supervisors : Dr. Wike Ayu Eka Putri, S.Pi., M.Si dan Rezi Apri M.Si) The waters of the Musi River Estuary are a coastal area that has a large variety of natural potentials, especially the potential for fish resources. The Belanak fish is a kind of fish which economically important and often consumed by the community. However, the number of activities in the waters of the area has decreased the quality of the waters and that it will show indications of pollution. The purpose of this research is to analyised the content of heavy metals mercury (Hg), lead (Pb) and copper (Cu) of Belanak fish in the Musi River and to find out the safe limit for consumption of Belanak fish which is caught in the Musi River. The method used to analysed is Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results of this study showed that the average concentration of heavy metals Hg, Pb and Cu in Belanak fish meat by 0.00036 mg / kg Hg, 0.0110 mg / kg Pb and Cu by 0.1443 mg / kg. While the average concentration of Belanak fish gills by 0.0275 mg / kg Hg, 0.01665 mg / kg for Pb and 0.2845 mg / kg for Cu, these values can be tolerated because they do not exceed the predetermined limits.
