Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Ilir Barat 1 Palembang pada materi biologi sistem peredaran darah. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Teknik penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling. Sample penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas XII SMA Negeri di Ilir Barat 1 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik tes tertulis dengan soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 24 butir soal, beserta beberapa lembar angket respons perspektif peserta didik tentang HOTS dan angket persepsi peserta didik terhadap guru dalam penggunaan pendekatan saintifik. Persepsi peserta didik terhadap guru dalam penggunaan pendekatan saintifik termasuk kategori sangat baik yaitu mencapai 85,5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Ilir Barat 1 Palembang pada materi sistem peredaran darah masih termasuk kategori sangat tidak baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rerata skor hasil uji soal peserta didik secara keseluruhan yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 26. Berdasarkan angket respons perspektif peserta didik tentang HOTS terbukti pada item pernyataan indikator kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal HOTS masih banyak item pernyataan tergolong tidak baik karena peserta didik merasa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah, kesulitan mengerjakan soal analisis, kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan dan merancang tugas proyek.
