Abstract

This study aims to: 1. Know the perceptions of FKIP UNSRI Indralaya Students towards Mapala program activities, 2. Know the Perceptions of Indralaya FKIP UNSRI Students towards the attitudes and behaviors of Mapala members, 3. Knowing the expectations of Indralaya FKIP UNSRI Students towards Mapala. The benefit of this research is to find out the perceptions that have been among students towards Mapala about knowledge related to the meaning, objectives, and activity programs in Mapala and the expectations of students for Mapala, so that it is useful to make the organization better for the future make evaluation materials for Mapala so that student interest in joining Mapala will increase. Perception theory and organizational theory are used as material for this study. Quantitative descriptive research methods with data collection techniques using a questionnaire technique (questionnaire) with a Likert scale research instrument and using simple random techniques (simple random sampling) in selecting samples. The results of this study indicate that most respondents know about the meaning, goals and programs of Mapala, and only one negative perception of respondents regarding the attitudes and behavior of Mapala members about the behavior of Mapala members in lectures. And the hope is that Mapala members will be more diligent and do not delay in making recovery tasks and can divide the time between recovery and the Mapala organization.
