Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penempatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel The Excelton Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penilitian ini yaitu teknik kuesioner, dengan cara membagikan kuesioner kepada 71 orang karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari data kuesioner dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisa regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penempatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel The Excelton Palembang. Oleh karena itu, saran yang diberikan untuk pimpinan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan penempatan kerja yang sesuai dengan kemampuan, bagi karyawan agar bertanggung jawab atas pekerjaan yang telah diberikan.
