Abstract

Effectiveness supervision by the Manpower and Transmigration Office South Sumatera Province maintaining a company wages for workers Manufacturing Industry in Palembang city. The objects in this research aims to determine effectiveness of supervision made by the government and maintaining a company wages for workers Palembang city and engaged in the Manufacturing Industry, the background of this research is there are still disputes wages Manufacturing Industry in Palembang city, and how supervision by the Manpower and Transmigration Office need to be researched using the Robbins and Coulter theory, based on this theory, used to measure the effectiveness of the supervision by the Manpower and Transmigration Office the company compliance the wages of workers Palembang city, which are consists of standards, measurement, comparison and action. This research using a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, the supervision by Manpower and Transmigration Office, wages of workers companies in Palembang City has already fullfilled three dimensions, standard dimensions, measurement dimensions and action dimensions. While the dimensions of comparison are not. The results of this study recommend that the implementation of supervision should communicate regularly with companies implementing a better technology system support for effective supervision and increase spirit at work the supervisors so that the targets can be achieved.
