Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of responsibility of the PT. Pertamina (persero) RU III Plaju Palembang to its social effects, assess the implementation of performances and process CSR as a form of corporate social responsibility PT. Pertamina (persero) RU III Plaju Palembang. Data source are primary data that interview, and secondary data that obtained using documentation. Interview was conducted to the staff of the company, especially in hubmas (public relations) about social responsibility and environmental classification of corporate social costs to the environment surrounding the company. The method of analysis used in this research descriptive qualitative study. The results of this study indicate that as overall PT. Pertamina (persero) RU III Plaju Palembang has been properly perform their social responsibilities through existing departments on each side in the social environment, although it has not proportionately allocate all costs to the surrounding community.
