Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity and sales growth on financial distress. The population in this study were various industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample was taken using the purposive sampling method, so that there were 14 companies that could be used as research samples. Testing the research hypothesis using logistic regression analysis techniques using IBM SPSS Statistics 24. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that the projected profitability with return on assets has no effect on financial distress. The projected liquidity with the current ratio has a significant and negative effect on financial distress. Sales growth has no effect on financial distress.
