Abstract

This research discusses “Student Behavior in Using Digital Services. This research was conducted at the Central Library of Sriwijaya University Inderalaya. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis method. There are three types of informants in this study, namely key informants, main and supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that students' understanding of digital services is quite familiar among students because it is often used, of the 8 types of digital services, 7 of which are known and used by students, namely e-journals, e-books, e-thesis, library free, plagiarism check, and repositories. Meanwhile, the unknown digital service among students is OPAC. Because it is not familiar and has never used it. Factors that influence understanding of this digital service are external factors, namely factors that come from outside such as lecturers and classmates. Student behavior in using digital services consists of 2, namely: Innate Behavior (Natural Behavior) and Operant Behavior (Operant Behavior). There are 2 forms of response, namely Covert Behavior (Passive Form) and Overt Behavior (Active Form). Keywords: Understanding, Behavior, Students, Digital Services
