Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the social points of the novel Eliana by Tere Liye. The researcher used descriptive analytic method with data sources by 13th printed novel Eliana that published by Penerbit Republika in 2016. To reach the result, literature review technique with reading and notes the social points methode for Djamaris (1993). Then, analyze with data identification, data classification, data interpretation, and research conclusion. Based on the research, the results are: 13 points of affection, 10 points offorgiving, 8 points of obediences, 3 points of politeness, 3 points of discussion, 3 points of mutual cooperation, 7 points of humanity, 12 points of wisdom, 4 points of respecting each others, and 5 points of responsibility. The implications of this research are expected to be utilized as a value taught in education through classrooms and can be carried out in a daily behaviour
