Abstract

This study aims to analyze the proper planning of the supply of medicines at the Apotik Alam Palembang. This research is a descriptive research category, the primary data needed in this study are interviews and balance data. Then the data analysis carried out is a qualitative analysis where the research is conducted at the Apotik Alam Palembang. The analysis revealed the pharmacy inventory planning Alam Palembang inadequate, this is due to the existence of the tasks performed by employees double duty. So that often happened mistake in calculating the impact of merchandise inventory loss in Apotik Alam Palembang. Apotik Alam Palembang in inventory control have not done the calculation of safety stock (safety stock) and the reorder point (reorder point). So that the frequent occurrence of excess inventory in the warehouse.
