Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan interaksi anatara manusia dan mesin dengan media citra berupa wajah. Interaksi antara manusia dan komputer sudah dapat ditemukan di berbagai tempat. Salah satu media interaksi antara manusia dan computer adalah dengan citra. Sistem kali ini akan menunjukkan bagaimana robot dapat bertindak berdasarkan posisi wajah seseorang yang terekam pada kamera robot. Sistem ini menggunakan metode algoritma Vioa-Jones yang merupakan metode deteksi objek yang cukup populer karena proses deteksi yang dilakukan sangat cepat. Selain itu robot juga akan mengikuti wajah berdasarkan identitas yang disimpannya didalam database. Dalam menegenali wajah manusia sistem ini menggunakan metode Eigenface. Kedua algoritma tersebut akan mengatur gerak robot sebagaimana mestinya. Hasil dari percobaan akan menunjukkan bawha robot dapat bergerak dengan cukup baik mengikuti wajah yang disimpan dalam database.
