Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of community participation in the development of the village in Tanjung Pinang I Village, Tanjung Batu District, the coral community actively participates and also the village government does not socialize with the community so that the lack of which is used is a qualitative research method. The focus of his research is the role of the village government in increasing community participation in Tanjung Pinang I Village, Tanjung Batu District. The informants who were the target of this research were the village heads, village officials, and the people of Tanjung Pinang I Village, Tanjung Batu District. Data collection consists of primary data that is directly collected at the time of conducting research in the field and secondary data which is the result of collecting people or agencies in the form of publications, reports, documents, and other books related to this research. Qualitative data analysis to describe based on classifying the role of the government of Tanjung Pinang I Village, Tanjung Batu District shows that the government is less capable. It can be seen that the level of community participation in village musrenbang activities decreases every year. participation.
