Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self compassion with stress on general practitioner in Palembang city. Hypothesis in this study,was there is relationship between self compassion with stress on Palembang city. This research used 100 general practitioner who work in Palembang. The instruments used were self compassion scale and stress scale. Sampling technique was incidental sampling. Data were analyzed by simple regression analysis. The result of simple regression analysis are R= 0,312, p= 0,002 (p<0,05). It means that there is a relationship between self compassion and stress. R-square value of this research was 0,097. It means that effective contributionself compassion related stress in this research is about 9,7%.
