Abstract

The security factor of a residential home from the crime of unwanted entry of people is necessary, both when the occupant is at home or when the house is responded to, for this purpose it can be overcome with policies and create a control and supervision system that can be accessed in real time when the occupant is in home or when outdoors using IoT (Internet of Things) technology. The design of this house door security system has a function to be controlled through the Blynk application on an Android cellphone. Besides that, it can be accessed using an LDR sensor, and the form of access to security for doorways can be monitored through the interface in the Blynk application. Based on the test results show that the system design can work properly, the security system is disconnected from the internet connection network, this tool will automatically go offline by itself and the Blynk application will send its notification to an Android phone, but it can still be controlled by shining a light on the LDR sensor. The advantage of this house door security system design is that it has no limits of authority and monitoring, while the drawback is that it requires a WiFi connection to operate.
