Abstract

The aims of the research were to find out different the treatments of breaking seeds dormancy of keranji. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijawa University from September to October 2020. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 4 times, this treatments were, 1) Sand Paper 2) 70% alcohol 3) Warm water 4) 50% H2SO4 and 4 replications. Parameters observed included germination%, germination rate, seedling growth rate, plumule length, radicle length, and seedling index vigor, analysis of variance using the 5% LSD test. The result of the study showed that treatments used were of sand paper was the best overall. There for physically treatments of dormancy breakdown was best choice compare to other treatments
