Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of financial ratios in predicting the financial distress of Local governments in South Sumatra Province. This research used quantitative approach. The data used in this research was secondary data in the form of financial reports of the local Governments in South Sumatra Province in 2014-2018. The population in this study were all local governments in South Sumatra Province. The sample in this study used the census technique method. The data analysis technique used was logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the variable financial flexibility, short-term solvency, and long-term solvency partially had no significant effect on financial distress the budget solvency variable had significant effect on financial distress.
