Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the dimensions of trust including ability, benevolence, integrity on purchasing decisions in the online application Tokopedia in Palembang city. The sampling method used in this study is a non-probability method with a total sample of 100 respondents from the Palembang city community. This research data collection technique using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Primary data of this study were processed with SPSS version 25.0. The results obtained in this study indicate that the dimensions of trustworthiness, benevolence, integrity simultaneously have a significant influence on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia online application in the city of Palembang. The dimensions of ability trust and benevolence partially do not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia online application in the city of Palembang. While the dimension of trust integrity partially has a significant effect on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia online application in the city of Palembang.
