Abstract

Muara Sungai Musi merupakan bagian dari Sungai Musi dimana tempat bertemunya beberapa anak sungai yang bermuara ke Selat Bangka, tepatnya di daerah Sungsang. Pendugaan konsentrasi klorofil-a di Perairan Muara Sungai Musi perlu dilakukan menggunakan metode yang lebih efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pola sebaran klorofil-a di Perairan Muara Sungai Musi, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan menggunakan citra Sentinel-2a multi-temporal, menentukan algoritma yang sesuai untuk pendugaan konsentrasi klorofil-a. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2020 menggunakan citra sentinel-2a tahun 2018-2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei lapangan dan pengolahan data citra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi antara konsentrasi klorofil-a insitu dan klorofil-a citra menggunakan algoritma Pentury (1997) sebersar r = 0.563. Ini menunjukkan bahwa korelasi tersebut memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat. Meskipun demikian, nilai RMSE dari algoritma Pentury (1997) tersebut sebesar 0.01 yang berarti memiliki hasil yang lebih akurat. Tahun 2018 sebaran klorofil-a cenderung rendah pada daerah sungai dan semakin tinggi menuju laut. Sedangkan pada Tahun 2019 dan 2020 memiliki pola sebaran klorofil-a cenderung tinggi pada daerah sungai dan semakin rendah menuju laut. The Musi River Estuary is a part of Musi River. This estuary is located in Sungsang and has been the meeting point of some tributaries to Bangka Strait. Estimation of Chlorophyll-a Concentration in Musi River Estuary using effective are required to be conducted. This study aimed to investigate the distribution patterns of Chlorophyll-a in Musi River Estuary with Multi-temporal Sentinel-2a Imagery. A suitable algorithm was determined to calculate the Chlorophyll-a Concentration. The research was carried out in February 2020 using the 2018-2020 Sentinel-2a imagery. This research was conducted in February 2020 using sentinel-2a imagery from 2018-2020. This research was conducted by using field survey methods and image data processing. The results showed a correlation between in-situ chlorophyll-a and image chlorophyll-a concentrations using the Pentury (1997) algorithm of r = 0.563. It shows that this correlation has a strong enough relationship. However, the RMSE value of the Pentury algorithm (1997) is 0.01, which means it has a more accurate result. In 2018 the distribution of chlorophyll-a tended to be low in river areas and higher towards the sea. Meanwhile, in 2019 and 2020, the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a tends to be high in river areas and lower towards the sea.
