Abstract

This research about financial analysis of conversion from thick slab price to concentrated latex price in Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency on December 2020. The purpose of this research were to: (1) analyze the trend of thick slab prices for rubber farmers in Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency in the past year, (2) analyze the difference in the selling value of thick slabs and concentrated latex in Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency, and (3) analyze the minimum price of concentrated latex which is feasible for rubber farmers in Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted in Bumi Kencana Village, Sungai Lilin District. The method used was survey method and sampling method using simple random sampling. Data collected are secondary data and primary data. The result showed that the thick slab price trend analysis in 2020 using regression of the 3rd order polynomial with the results of 5 regressions against 5 UPPBs in Sungai Lilin District which the trend to fluctuate in the year 2020 every week. The selling value of concentrated latex products was Rp16.948/kg is greater than the selling value of thick slabs Rp7.981/kg. Based on the minimum feasible price at the farm level for concentrated latex is Rp16.420/kg is greater than the minimum price for thick slab is Rp6.343/kg in Sungai Lilin District Musi Banyuasin Regency.
