Abstract

Radionuclide Cs-137 has been analyzed on water sample in 7 stations Musi watershed of Palembang City by using gamma spectrometer tools. The influence of the watershed characteristics such as pH of water, conductivity and turbidity of each station and determining distribution pattern maps with the supporting of software SMS (Surfacewater Modeling System) and ArcGIS 10.5. The results showed the concentration value of Cs-137 in water ranged from 0,04 to 1.28 Bq/kg, according the result below the quality standard set by the BAPETEN maximum of 7×102 Bq/kg. The spread of radionuclide Cs-137 is indicated by global fallout and the direction of tidal currents, current speed and river morphology. The watershed characteristics result showed no significant influence with the concentration level of radionuclide Cs-137.
