Abstract

The financial management of mosques is one of the most crusial things in mosque governance, therefore its management must be carefully considered so that the funding that has been budgeted for realization can be felt directly by the community around the mosque environment. Because in truth, a rahmatan lil alamin and prosperous mosque is a mosque that can present an atmosphere of goodness and provide changes of goodness to the people. This research was conducted at Masjid Nur Al Iman which is located in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sunatera Province with the aim of knowing how the governance is carried out by mosque takmirs. This research is a research with qualitative methods, data collection is done using observation and interview techniques. Along with the data collection process, the researcher will analyze the data obtained by analyzing and interpreting the results of observations and interviews. The data validity checking technique used is the data triangulation technique. The results showed that the takmir of Masjid Nur Al Iman Musi Rawas had used the concept of transparency through the separation of the allocation of funds through the separation of infaq boxes. Not only that, the mosque takmir has also used the concept of accountability. The responsibility that has been carried out by the takmir of the Masjid Nur Al Iman , whether it is on the financial side or on the non-financial side, is both reported in real time and periodically at certain time periods, namely weekly, monthly, and yearly.
