Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process of sewing training through the Anita Sewing Course Institute in Bangun Jaya Village, Pagar Alam City, which is studied from the elements of participation of learning citizens in learning activities. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. Respondents in this study amounted to 3 people. Primary data collection techniques were obtained from tutors, citizens learned training by interview and observation. Secondary data were obtained from books, journals, articles related to research and documentation in anita sewing training. The research results show that the sewing course learning process includes material accompanied by theory using the ready-made pattern method and the media used, namely the finished pattern blackboard marker and also equipped with sewing machine facilities and the language. The results showed that the participation of the learning community in the learning process of anita sewing training in learning activities was good. This is evidenced by good learning methods and processes. Keywords: learning process, sewing training
