Abstract

HARYANTO P. SARAGIH. Application of Liquid Bioinsecticide Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. to Controling Grasshoper of Ratoon and Main Paddy (Supervised by SITI HERLINDA and ABU UMAYAH). Many pest disease attacked rice plant One of the pest disease was rthoptera species. The objective of this study was to obtain theeffect of application bioinsecticide from Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. to population and attacked of pest disease such as ratoon grasshopper and rice plant on swamp land. The study conducted in lowland at Pelabuhan Dalam, Pemulutan, Ogan Ilir, Sumatra Selatan on march until December 2014. The study method being used was chi-square with two treatments and four foliar bioinsecticide replications, (a) B. bassiana treatment and (b) control treatments. The result showed that there were higher population of pest disease in each plot than bioinsecticide plot treatments on ratoon and rice plant. The application bioinsecticide from B. bassiana has significant effects to ratoon crops population of pest disease on threeuntilfour days afterharvested and four until six days after harvested for rice plant. The highest attacked of pest disease on ratoon crops were four and six ages days after harvested in rice plant at wamp land. The conclusion of B. bassiana bioinsecticide treatments was effective to restrain the grasshopper pest disease.
