Abstract

There are two main objectives of undergoing this research. First, it is to determine whether or not there is influence of work discipline towards performance of teacher in Public Junior High School District Seberang Ulu 1 Palembang. The other one is to know how work discipline towards performance of teacher in Public Junior High School District Seberang Ulu 1 Palembang relate to each other. The methods of data collecting used to conduct this study were questionnaires test to validity and reability of questionnaires and used 102 respondents. This study also used normality and heteroskedostisitas to analyze datas normal or not. Furthermore, a simple regression analysis was used to find the regression equation. The next step done was doing the partial test to test the hypotheses. Then, correlation and coefficient determination test were done to find out the relationship between the independent and dependent variables and to find out how much the independent variable was influenced by the dependent variable. The study result sowed that was discipline influenced the performance of teacher in Public Junior High School District Seberang Ulu 1 Palembang and there was a medium and positive correlation between the work discipline and the performance of teacher in Public Junior High School district Seberang Ulu 1 Palembang.
