Abstract

Tin one of mineral deposition that main formers mineral was cassiterite and granite the rock carrier. PT Prisma Multi Karya is one of private company that work in tin ore mining. Cassiterite grade that produced not achieve the company limit >65% lately. In this research analysis performance of willobi to increasing work efficiency for achieve optimal Recovery by changing variable debit of water and feeding speed. This research started by calculate water discharge, weigh the feed, analyze grade of SnO2 at feed and concentrate in actual situation for knowing feed weigh and grade of SnO2 at feed and concentrate in actual situation include the recovery. Then change of water discharge and feeding speed was made for analyze. This research result in actual condition known average grade that achieved 59,89 %, average recovery 78,36 % and average debit of water used was 85,25 litre/min. After doing experiment, known the relation between tin ore recovery and water discharge and feeding speed are tend to inversely proportional. Bigger debit of water and faster feeding speed the recovery will tend to lower. Highest recovery achieved at experiment with water discharge 44,07 litre/min and feeding speed 2 kg/min was 98,29 % with SnO2 grade 59,13%. Lowest recovery achieved 57,38 % with SnO2 grade 63,42% by experiment with water discharge 206,25 litre/min and feeding speed 5 kg/min. To achieving optimal recovery water discharge 97,60 liter/min and feeding 3 kg/minute was used, resulting recovery 91,416% and SnO2 grade 66,63% and the grade has reached company will also saving time.
