Abstract

Now on, district government of South Sumatera keep the attention to push the quantity of poor people or rate of poor. Government investment really influence less the rate of poor. The paper tell the influence of government investment to control the rate of poor on South Sumatera Province. Based on the conclusion with simple linear regression, we can see that investment from government of South Sumatera since 1993 to 2005 cannot influence to less the rate of poor significantly.
