Abstract

Skripsi ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan gas elpiji di Kota Palembang. Adapun faktor-faktor tersebut adalah harga gas elpiji, pendapatan, jumlah anggota keluarga, harga minyak tanah, dan harga profesi ibu rumah tangga. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa harga gas elpiji dan harga minyak tanah tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Tidak signifikannya harga gas elpiji disebabkan karena gas elpiji sudah menjadi kebutuhan sehari-hari untuk memasak. Harga minyak tanah tidak signifikan karena minyak tanah belum mampu menggantikan gas elpiji secara utuh. Sementara pendapatan, jumlah anggota keluarga dan profesi ibu rumah tangga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap permintaan gas elpiji.
