Abstract

PT Prisma Multi Karya is a national private company engaged in mineral mining, especially tin minerals. This company has a Mining Business Permit (IUP) located in Pergam village, Air Gegas sub-district, Serdang village and Bikang village, Toboali sub-district, South Bangka district, Bangka Belitung province. mining is carried out to extract and separate tin ore (SnO2) from its impurities. The tin mining target set for the September 2019 mining period is 1010 m3 / month or 48.10 m3 / day and the processing yield target is 1000 kg / month with a target grade of 50%. but the results of processing carried out in September 2019 did not match the specified targets, namely, only 890 kg / month and levels of 50.29%. This leads to an evaluation of mining and processing activities. In mining and processing activities, the factors evaluated are the pumping time and the pump engine rotation on the slurry pumping line from the reservoir / camuy to the sluice box. In setting the mining and processing working time, the pumping time is obtained for 120 minutes / day with a production of 890 kg and a content of 50.29%. After changing the number of pumps used at the time of pumping into two pumps in order to obtain a large production of 993.83 kg and a content of 50.29%. In the pumping process, variations in engine rotation volume 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are used so that the production levels at variations 1, 2, 3 and 4 reach the production target tonnage, namely 5620.60737 kg / month, 2815 respectively. , 02333 kg / month, 1537.43373 kg / month and 1031.6271 kg / month. However, for pumping variations that reach the target level of the company, only the 4th and 5th pumping variations.After conducting the analysis, it is known that the most optimal pump engine rotation variation to be applied to the pumping process is the stage 4 pump engine rotation variation with a production rate of 49.13 kg. / day or 1031.63 kg / month and levels of 50.43% with a large recovery of 58.58%. This production level has passed the company's target of 1000 kg / month and the minimum content is 50%.
