Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan muatan konten nature of science (NOS) yang termuat dalam buku teks Fisika SMA kelas XI kurikulum 2013 revisi 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Adapun dalam penelitian ini objek yang digunakan adalah dua jenis buku teks Fisika kelas XI SMA yang telah direkomendasikan oleh Kemendikbud. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah masing-masing bab materi di kedua buku yang dianalisis berjumlah 11 bab materi bahasan. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, muatan konten NOS banyak termuat pada bab materi termodinamika. Pada buku teks Fisika dari Ketut & Purnama (2016) bab materi tersebut memperoleh skor sebesar 24 atau setara dengan 80% sedangkan, pada buku teks fisika dari (Marthen, 2017)memperoleh skor sebesar 26 atau setara dengan 86%.
