Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis material serbuk Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) menggunakan variabel meliputi perbandingan metode sol-gel dan metode presipitasi. Karakterisasi yang dilakukan meliputi X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) dan Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). Dari hasil analisa XRD, metode sol-gel menghasilkan tingkat kemurnian yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan metode presipitasi. Hasil FTIR menunjukkan gugus fungsi atau ikatan kimia paling banyak terdapat pada LTO metode presipitasi dibandingkan metode sol-gel. Hasil TGA menunjukkan bahwa perubahan dekomposisi pada sampel LTO sebesar 70,18% (LTO sol-gel), 43,4% (LTO TH) dan 36,23% (LTO THH).
