Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The purpose of this study is to describe the problems faced by teachers in implementing integrated thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the solutions applied by schools in dealing with problems in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at SDN 139 Palembang. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic implemented online learning and offline and in the implementation there are still many problems experienced by teachers, that is limitations of parents in supporting learning activities both in terms of facilities and learning assistance which are 100% percentage The difficulty of the teacher in presenting material, giving assignments and monitoring the implementation and understanding of students is 100%. 80% of the use of the internet was wasteful and the timeliness of students in collecting assignments was 50%. For solutions implemented by schools, namely doing offline learning, reminding parents to always be able to accompany children to learn from home, sorting out materials that are less relevant and less suitable during the pandemic, giving assignments according to the abilities of students, calling parents of participants students who are not present, see the results of student evaluations periodically, use BOS funds to buy internet pulses and determine a schedule for assignment collection Keywords : Problems, learning, Covid-19 pandemic
